December 31, 2009
Just a quick note today, as I’m scrambling. Go figure.
We’re selling, listing and showing homes all before the ball drops…so I must hurry.
If you missed last week’s email, I announced that I’m running for State Senate in District 57 in MN. Realtors (and other business owners, and heck, each & every taxpayer for that matter) need all the help they can get, so I’m stepping up to the plate to get ’er done. Today is the last day that I can get contributions for 2009. I really really do need your help, as I’m running against incumbent Katie Sieben, and she already has some cash in her till from the last time she ran. (No one has really challenged her before, and I really want to challenge her & WIN!) We need money for signs, rallies, mailers etc… So if you have anything leftover from Christmas, I’d really appreciate a small donation. Anyone from anywhere (even Canada) can contribute to the campaign! As we all know, government starts with you, at the local level, and it’s time to send the message on up. (My message is at www.HousleyForSenate.com)
Max contribution is $100 per person for 2009. Go to HousleyForSenate.com and click the DONATE button (the site takes credit cards) or write & date your check today (12/31/09), and drop it in the mail to Housley For Senate at PO Box 7 – Lakeland, MN 55043. Even my frugal brother-in-law in Atlanta donated. Thanks, Mac, I’m in shock.

P.S. I just left Julie in the office agonizing over whether she wants to call the New Year, Two Thousand and Ten, or Twenty Ten. In between, she’s dangling her rosary mumbling Rush Limbaugh, Rush Limbaugh. Please say a prayer for Rush, he’s lookin’ good.
